Five Natural Beauties of Earth

We live on a vast and beautiful planet and we have made it our goal to explore every inch of it! At Travel Patterns we have a love for honoring this special planet and for admiring the way that it was created. Today, on Earth Day 2021, we wanted to show off five natural beauties.

The Nile River, Uganda

The Nile River is the world’s longest river and in Jinja you can find the very source of it! We love spending our days relaxing along the water or getting an adrenaline rush on the level 4 and 5 rapids. If you are looking for a particularly beautiful place to enjoy the Nile, we recommend the all inclusive Wildwaters Lodge.

Lake Tahoe, Nevada

This beautiful natural lake is stunning at anytime of the year. From the crystal clear water to the snow that can be found on the ground almost year round, this ancient lake is sure to take your breath away. If you are into history, we suggest the hike to Vikingsholm — Tahoe’s Hidden Castle!

Lake Atitlan, Guatemala

Lake Atitan is the deepest lake in Central America and is surrounded by volcanos. It’s not difficult to find yourself mesmerized by the lush greenery and the calm lapping of the lake. You can read more about the Lake and it’s surrounding villages in this post.

Oahu, Hawaii

Everyone talks about the beauty of Hawaii and we are here to tell you that the hype is true! From volcanos, to jungles, to white sandy beaches, Hawaii is full of some of the worlds most beautiful locals. The above picture is from Kauloa Ranch where you can take a tour of the filming locations for movies like “50 First Dates” and “Jurassic Park”.

Cinque Terre, Italy

Cinque Terre is a collection of villages along the Italian Rivera boasting incredible views, beautiful beaches, and the best pesto in all of Italy! While you may not be someone who enjoys hiking on vacation, we definitely recommend making the trek its the only way to really take in the stunning scenery. The above picture is of one of our favorite villages, Vernazza.

Take Heart, Take Flight.
